The meaning of life - I

Do you know the meaning of LIFE?

Actually, nobody knows. People are trying to find it, I don’t know how many succeed. If they know it or not but they are trying to find it whenever they do something – either in daily routine, enjoyment, prayers or anything like that.

I have tried to find it, but don’t know up to this time. But on the way, I thought of some questions. Answers to these questions can give you the meaning of life. The most important question in this list will immerse from other questions. Which can lead to find answer of all the questions?

Here are the questions:
1. Can you know the time, when you will die?
2. What will you do if you have only one year left?
3. Or one month?
4. Or one week?
5. Or one day?
6. Or one hour?
7. Or one minute?
8. Or just a second?

If you can answer the first question you will know when you are going to die. And you can give answers to other questions.

I am not giving the answers of these questions though. My answers will never be the same as yours. For each person the answers of the questions will be different. So I am giving some ways to live your life, came from the answers.

The ultimate question comes from all these questions and their answers - is:

9. What will you do if you know that you are immortal?

I know, answering this question, you will know everything you want to know. About you, your lifestyle, your view of life, anything that is part of you.

I don’t want to discuss these questions or any answer here, you have to do it by yourself, but I will give guidelines that can make your life better.

Notice: You have to consider it only if you are not immortal. :-)

Nobody knows the future. So don’t ever live in your plans – your thoughts – try to live in moment – in present – what life has to give you NOW.

-> Plan your life for a year

It is useless to plan your whole life (it is not a life if it is planned)

-> Manage your relations as you have only one month

Any relation, your family, friends, colleagues

-> Enjoy like you have only one week to live

Just enjoy man! You already know how…

-> keep your behavior something like you have only a day

How do you behave with others, build your character. So how do you want to develop yourself – good or bad: do your actions like you have only one day to live

-> give your commitment as if you have only one hour left

whatever you are doing, either your daily work, helping someone, just playing a game, making some art, you are at war or smoking a cigar – do it with your best effort. (do not take it literally)

-> give yourself time for a minute

What will you do if you have only one minute left? Nothing. You can’t do anything but wait and watch. Give yourself a minute from your busy life. Just sit doing nothing, to relax, give a wait signal to all your worries

-> speak your name if you have only a second

If you believe in god you may want to remember him. It doesn’t matter what you speak. It is the meaning. Your act is over in this opera and new actors will play the act. Nobody is removed and nobody is added. It goes on and on.

You have completed your role, what you have given. But now you have to except the truth. That is inevitable.

So if you have just a second, cheer for yourself.
